What is the main goal for this project?

We seek the best and brightest students to identify new and disruptive marketing opportunities to launch one of RacerX business units on the eCommerce marketplace serving motorsports industry worldwide.

Your research and sports marketing insights will help us to utilize your insights to better identify and draw on new opportunities.

From this analysis, we hope to identify disruptive marketing methods to attract racers and teams in motorsports. ,

We shall implement and test solutions created from your plan that will greatly enhance our market penetration.

These insights will be directly related to business outcomes.

This project is one that will allow students real time experience in live marketing situations.

Here are some of the topics we’d like students to explore throughout this project:

  • Learn the eCommerce marketplace business model since its now the biggest and best in all industries worldwide.
  • Our target customer is the racer first and foremost, then teams, suppliers and manufacturers that sell products to racers, teams and race series.
  • Improve marketing systemization and selection of technologies and techniques
  • Identify trends and potential predictive and or disruptive marketing strategies
  • Develop more sophisticated product marketing methodologies, templates, systemization and reporting models based on your findings
  • Marketing strategy review: Providing recommendations on what method to leverage and increase market penetration marketing strategy, based on our budget and markets.
  • Marketing Mix strategy: Providing insight and recommending sustainable strategies related to the Marketing Mix (Product, Place, Price and Promotion).
  • Social Media: An analysis of how to leverage social media channels to maximize reach in different customer categories.
  • Conduct external analysis (including customer, competitor, market and environment) as well as marketing mix performance.
  • Developing an integrated online/offline marketing strategy.
