What is the main goal for this project?

In our efforts to target a new demographic of Millennial and Gen Z workforce, we have experienced challenges maintaining a consistent voice across media channels. We want you to assist us in updating our branding in a way that will inform our target Millennial and Gen Z market of the careers in the aging services realm.

For this project, you will need to:

  • Understand our brand and mission.
  • Conduct research on our workforce issues.
  • Understanding for Social Media and promotion

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

We want to increase our brand awareness in the millennial and Gen Z segment through a mission-aligned marketing campaign that works within our budget and time constraints. We want to promote our field to the younger generations.

  • Identify trends and opportunities in our target market.
  • Build innovative marketing strategies incorporating multiple channels
  • Build a social media calendar including new content ideas and timelines
  • Help to create images and posters to use for millennial and Gen Z marketing initiatives.
  • Create new concepts for blog posts, social media posts, videos, podcasts, and more
About the company

LeadingAge Virginia was founded in 1973 by nursing home administrators who believed that nonprofit homes were unique in their needs and resources and required their own organization. LeadingAge Virginia is an association of not-for-profit aging services organizations serving residents and clients through life plan/continuing care retirement communities, senior housing, assisted living, nursing homes, adult day centers, and home and community-based services. We are not-for-profit organizations working together to expand the world of possibilities for aging.
