What is the main goal for this project?

Level UP Positions Available: 2 individuals or two team of 2 students

Course Teams Positions Available: Two teams with 3 to 5 students each

To become a proactive and effective sales focused organization, we need assistance developing an outreach process for our B2B Corporate Outplacement and B2C Consumer Sales Division. We would like to equip our sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target markets by vertical market.

The project may include, but is not limited to:

Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base.Compiling relevant market information (we could or the students can assist in analyzing prospective vertical target sectors that takes into account scenario based industry strategic foresight to discover which companies are in high need categories for career outplacement or transition coaching as they may experience downsizing due to the following:1. Likely to move plants to cheaper labor nations like Mexico or Asian countries i.e. China2. Industries likely to experience disruptive forces / disinter-mediation from new players like Uber or Airbnb.3. Restructuring due to other Market downturns due to black swan events like Covid-19 or other variants and viruses.4. Competitive SWOT blind spots so specific organizations did not up level their offerings, business models or sales processes online to compete. i.e. Walmart losing online sales to Amazon.Building a customizable outreach script.Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success.

The final project deliverable is a report including research, analysis, and recommendations for target industry players and typically the top 25 to 100 largest players in the sector or those that are known users of outplacement services. It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions.

We will provide whatever our senior managers and or sales professional that can offer to you career growth. This includes direction but great autonomy on your activities with us.
