What are your criteria for success?
Creating an identifiable, consistent brand. A strong logo and design that accurately shows the products and services offered. The company has evolved from its original offerings, current branding makes less sense and is confusing to clients as to what the business is. Hoping to streamline this message and accurately depict it through design as the name now carries weight and awareness and would be difficult to change.
We've launched a new brand StonedxSteph to manage our activations. We are looking to develop a Brand Guide with templates to help strengthen our Go-To-Market strategy and pave a path for an easy-to-implement social calendar.
The measures of success based off User Research/Feedback:
- Updated logo suggestions
- Updated color palate and font selection
- Templates for newsletters and social posts
- Rebrand to reflect current offerings/ what the company is known for
- Project Plan- Identify milestones and set a timeline for the project
Week 1: Competitor Research
Week 2: User Research/Survey
Week 3: LoFi Strategy Discussion
Week 4: Final Presentation
- Review requirements and existing designs- Familiarize themselves with the existing product to understand the requirements, design work, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.
- Consistent brand messaging
- Calendar- easy to follow/user friendly
- Finalize- Handoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects
- Design Audit- audit the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Competitive research - analysis of direct or indirect competitors' design strengths and weaknesses, with actionable recommendations
- User research- research plans, screener surveys, user interviews, and/or persona development to better understand users
- Usability testing- summary of key findings and recommendations, or documentation of testing sessions to understand users’ experience of and interaction with your product
- Redesign and/or redesign recommendations- design improved flows for the distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into wireframes or mockups that show exactly how the solution could work
- Prototype- once high fidelity mockups are complete, create a prototype in Figma that can be used to test and validate the designs
[Note the text included below describes Springboard's requirements for collaboration with a design team. Feel free to add additional ways that you plan to support the team as needed]
- Preparation of any relevant resources and assets in advance of the kick off call
- With a regular weekly check-in call
- Reasonably responsive throughout the collaboration to unsure progress is not blocked.
- Allow the learners to share the work they do for us in job search materials
