market potential functional skills qualification automated teller machine traumatic brain injuries go-to-market strategy assisted living mental health mental diseases rehabilitation pharmaceuticalsOur company is about to go to market with our 3rd generation software solution for assessing and training functional skills related to everyday living (how to bank or shop online, use a ticket kiosk or an ATM, manage medications, etc. all with specific focus on technology). Initial focus would be healthy aging adults, individuals with mental illness, stroke, traumatic brain injury or a cognitive impairment such as mild cognitive impairment who often lack the functional skills needed to perform everyday tasks in a broad range of areas. In that regard we are looking to design the best possible entry strategy given available resources internally and via potential partners. Our initial focus is BTB and to a high extent healthcare.
In that regard we are looking for assistance with:
1) Determining the market potential overall by customer segment (potential measured in users and $).
2) Breaking down the customer segments by potential and delivery location (geographical clusters, etc.). Possible delivery locations include (but would not be limited to): University cognitive remediation centers, memory disorder clinics, state mental health system, reg. clinics/private practices, private and public hospitals, Chain/independent retirement & assisted living communities, rehab. & wellness centers, adult day centers, veteran centers, health systems/corporations, residential facilities, pharma/CRO/other research, companies in different industries, etc.
3) Analyzing the numbers in order to recommend a possible operational entry and focus strategy.
About the company
i-Function helps people gain confidence and live more productive lives by providing tools that: Facilitate early and accurate diagnosis of cognitive problems; access and train everyday functional skills. We do this by applying a research driven and technology based approach to everything we do.
The FUNSAT tool from i-Function bridges the “real world functioning skills” gap between daily life, functional skills and technology. It can help people regain their prior functional skills or assist them with the acquisition of new functional skills needed to manage emerging and existing technologies (banking online, using a smart phone, navigating the complex healthcare universe, etc.). This takes place through a unique & evidence-based, cloud based, functional skills assessment and training software platform that can be delivered on tablets (Android and iOS) as well as on PC’s and Mac’s.
