Project scope
- What is the main goal for this project?
-
Our organization is able to offer a virtual developer opportunity for an individual or team of 2 computer science students.
The primary focus areas for the student(s) will be:
- .NET client app Migration to Browser UI - Utilize Blazer to migrate our existing blueButler .NET client to a browser UI. Set up a sandbox lab and use our Gitlab source code control to develop and deploy a Prototype Blazer version of our .NET app to the sandbox for testing. Verify that all current blueButler application functionality is maintained in the browser UI. Validate that all security permissions and restrictions are supported.
The goal for this project is to demonstrate a working Prototype of the Blazer-migrated browser UI client in the sandbox environment.
Our virtual student(s) is expected to have the following tools:
- Windows 10 Pro Laptop or Computer
- .NET Visual Studio
- Knowledge of browser UI requirements
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools:
- Gmail
- blueC Slack channels
- blueC VoIP system (Ring Central)
Student's primary contact: Jeff McDonald, Senior Software Developer
Secondary contact: John McDonald, CTO
