The primary objective of this project is to enhance the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design of the Door Face App, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging interaction for users interacting with the Door Face Panels. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Understanding the current UX/UI design of the Door Face App and identifying areas for improvement.


- Conducting user research and gathering feedback to understand user preferences and pain points.


- Creating wireframes and prototypes for the enhanced UX/UI design.


- Collaborating with the development team to implement the new design and ensure compatibility with the Door Face Panels' features and functionalities.


- Testing the new design with users and iterating based on feedback.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- Analysis of the current UX/UI design and a report outlining areas for improvement.


- User research findings and feedback gathered from the target audience.


- Wireframes and prototypes for the enhanced UX/UI design.


- Collaboration with the development team to implement the new design and ensure compatibility.


- Testing results and a final iteration of the enhanced UX/UI design based on user feedback.



Final deliverables:


- A comprehensive report detailing the entire design process, from research to implementation.


- Finalized wireframes, prototypes, and design assets.

Door Face Panels is a fresh startup aiming to bring smart doors with interchangeable faces to the masses. The Door has just been patented and there are many IoT devices, creative patterns, user friendly APPs, insulation and useful utilities added to these doors. Prime target market is residential entrance doors but there are many more interior, commercial and institutional door applications for the DFP.
