patentsOur organization is interested in the possibility of offering courses to individuals in Canada (in all provinces and territories). As part of our initial assessment and strategy development, we would like assistance in evaluating the legal requirements for this project. We would like to work with students to get a picture of what to expect, from a legal standpoint, if we were to expand into this new market.
We are especially interested in:
- Regulatory barriers and required approvals (in each province and territory, the initial focus would be Ontario).
- Structure implications.
- Licenses and patent rights eligibility.
- Contractual issues.
- Liability issues.
We have four team members (based in Ontario) who can assist students via phone, email, or video calls. We fully commit to the amount of weekly hours for this specified by Riipen.
