Introduction

Omilia Visuals is in its second year as a Visual Media Services provider: Photography and Videography Services. We would like to build a website that showcases our portfolio, attracts clients, and has a client portal for delivering client projects.

This project entails creating a professional, intuitive, and visually appealing website that:

  2. Showcases our Videography services (Vodcasts, youtube videos).
  3. Hosts the Omilia visuals Inspiration & Education blog
  4. Hosts a client portal where client can receive their deliverables
  5. The website would effectively highlight each service category while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
  6. is intuitive and easy to maintain

Expected Outcome:

By the end of the project, students are expected to deliver a fully functional website that accurately reflects our brand, separates and highlights the various service categories (weddings, engagements, events, and portraits photography, and out videography services), and provides potential clients with an engaging and informative user experience.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages.
  • Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable.
  • Developing design concepts for the website, including layout, color scheme, typography, and imagery, ensuring it aligns with the client's brand identity and target audience.
  • Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content.
  • Providing training on updating and maintaining the website.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
