This project aims to investigate and document the challenges encountered by children with undiagnosed learning disabilities, with a particular focus on the importance of early diagnosis before they enter the school system. Many of these children, especially those living in poverty, face significant barriers to accessing timely assessment and support services. This research initiative seeks to illuminate the experiences of these children and their families, as well as the systemic obstacles hindering early diagnosis and intervention.

Objectives:

• Research Design: Develop a comprehensive research plan outlining the methodology, data collection techniques, and ethical considerations for conducting the study.
• Literature Review: Conduct an in-depth review of existing literature, scholarly articles, and reports related to the challenges associated with undiagnosed learning disabilities in children, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and the impact of socioeconomic factors, including poverty.
• Data Collection: Implement data collection strategies, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather insights from various stakeholders, including parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
• Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze the collected data to identify common themes, challenges, and patterns related to the experiences of children with undiagnosed learning disabilities and their families, as well as the systemic barriers to early diagnosis and intervention.
• Report Compilation: Compile the research findings into a comprehensive report, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and implications for policy and practice.
