marketing strategies marketing marketing planning social media content creation social media content management social media campaigns social media managementAs an early stag startup, we are working hard on getting our name and brand out there. We have attended events, and began to build a list of contacts and leads. But we need some help with the weekly ongoing social media management tasks.
We want students to help us build a marketing plan to grow and engage our target market.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Creating weekly content in different formats to be shared across multiple social media platform.
- Create a campaign plan and posts for a product launch.
- Interact with other brands and educational institutions.
- Research possible events and collaborations.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Recommending updates to our messaging that can better explain our value proposition.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Weekly content shared to our social media channels.
- A completed campaign plan with associated posts for a product launch.
- Recommendations for new promotion channels, events, and collaborations

About the company
At Octopodi Technologies, we’re not just building software—we’re redefining coding education. As educators, we know the frustration of spending more time grading than actually teaching. We wanted to focus on crafting engaging lessons and tailoring assignments to our students, but administrative tasks kept getting in the way. So, we built a smarter, more efficient grading system—one that helps educators spend less time sifting through code and more time doing what they do best: inspiring the next generation of programmers. If that resonates with you, let’s work together to give you back more time for what truly matters!
