Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Accessible Professionals is preparing to launch in the Fall of 2021 and will require a marketing intern to strengthen our social media platforms in an effort to promote our virtual platform. Our focus is on building a community of professionals around the globe so we can better serve the needs of families. Our mandate is to empower mothers with reliable and trustworthy solutions.

You will be working alongside health, education and legal professionals to create content. Our goal is to build a relationship with our members/followers and integrate ourselves into their lives by providing resources for their current and future concerns.

If you reside in the GTA, you will be invited to attend photoshoots based on the content you have developed (You are not mandated to attend the photoshoot, we just want to provide added exposure to our interns).

We’re looking for an Intern to help us discover relatable hot topics, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness about Accessible Professionals and nurture engagement with our members and followers.

Based on our goals, we are looking for the Intern to work on the following:

  • Explore other marketing ideas, outside social media to promote our launch
  • Discover hot topics related to our target markets interest
  • Evaluate our current CRMs to support effective workflow re: marketing
  • Content Calendar Curation: work with our health, education and legal professionals to ensure timely deployment of all our social media content and a monthly newsletter to drive maximum traffic to our site, also nurturing the relationship with current followers/members
  • Social Media Management: overseeing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google My Business Posts, Twitter and keeping them up-to-date. Planning a social media calendar at least a month in advance.
  • Social Media Analytics Review to ensure our efforts are being directed in the most valuable markets.
  • Content Development for the monthly newsletter, forum topics and social media posts
  • SEO support
  • Other marketing-related tasks

Collaboration is of great importance to Accessible Professionals. The intern will be required to work well independently and as part of a team.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

A founding member of Accessible Professionals will hold a virtual meeting twice a week to check-in. We will ensure that there is a full understanding of the project and will help guide them through the process. We will use Trello as a means for communication on a daily basis to ensure all questions are addressed. We will ensure we are creating an environment that challenges them to bring them to the next level of their expertise.
