Details

Land Stewardship Centre aims to broaden the client base for its Conservation Land Registry (CLR) by reaching out to new sectors, specifically environmental consulting firms, conservation organizations and government agencies. The project involves developing a targeted marketing strategy that leverages the unique benefits of CLR to appeal to these sectors. The goal is to identify key decision-makers within these organizations and tailor marketing messages that resonate with their needs and priorities. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. The tasks will include market research, competitive analysis and the creation of a comprehensive marketing plan to reach new clientele. The project is designed to be completed by a team of marketing students who can work collaboratively to achieve the objectives within a limited timeframe.

Deliverables

The project will result in a detailed marketing strategy document that includes a market analysis, target audience profiles, tailored marketing messages and effective channels for outreach to ensure growth in both the number and diversity of CLR clients. Additionally, learners will create a presentation summarizing their findings and recommendations. The deliverables will also include a list of potential clients and a proposed outreach plan to engage these new sectors effectively.

Land Stewardship Centre (LSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the responsible management of natural resources and promoting sustainable land use practices across Alberta. Our mission is to empower communities, landowners, and organizations to become effective stewards of their land. We provide resources, tools, and expertise to help these groups protect and enhance their natural environment. One of our key initiatives is the Conservation Land Registry (CLR), a robust online database designed to track and document conservation activities, easements, and agreements on private and public lands. The CLR plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term preservation of valuable natural habits by offering centralized, accessible space for recording and managing conservation efforts.
