Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are planning to develop a policy and procedures manual for our staff use, things we are looking to include for this manual are the following;

  • dress code
  • vacation/ time off request
  • complaint process
  • mileage/ reimbursement process
  • mandatory training etc.

we would like to see this be as specific and relatable to health care as possible.

We would like to see different ideas/topics and methods use when complying the information to format the policy and procedure manual.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, our hope is that there is ability to master the following;

  • Start or completion of policies
  • Compared our policy to others and their implications.
  • Identified risks and effects created by our policy.
  • Created recommendations on how to improve our policy.
  • Compiled a report of all research, int and recommendations

Bonus steps would include:

  • Created various recommendations with different ways to mitigate each risk.

Final deliverables should include

  • Policy and procedures manual
  • a break down of how the information was gathered and collected.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide guidance and problem solving when possible if needed.

If students need to touch base weekly/biweekly for any guidance that is a possibility as well.
