What is the main goal for this project?

As a business administrative intern, your role would involve actively contributing to client onboarding, system setup, and process improvement initiatives. By supporting these areas, you would help Ivory Tower enhance its business operations and provide a seamless experience to clients.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Client onboarding:

  • Assist in gathering necessary information and documentation from new clients.
  • Create and maintain client profiles or databases with relevant details.
  • Prepare client contracts, agreements, or other required documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule introductory meetings or calls with clients.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for new clients into Ivory Tower's services.

Systems setup and maintenance:

  • Collaborate with the team to set up and configure business systems, such as CRM software, project management tools, or communication platforms.
  • Input and organize data within these systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify data discrepancies or system issues.
  • Provide basic training and support to employees on using the implemented systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system-related problems.

Process documentation and improvement:

  • Document existing processes and workflows within Ivory Tower.
  • Update and maintain process manuals or SOPs as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline and optimize existing processes.
  • Assist in implementing approved process improvements.

Administrative support:

  • Manage and organize files, documents, and records.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, or other materials for internal or client meetings.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, or events.
  • Handle basic correspondence, including email communications or phone inquiries.
  • Support general administrative tasks as required by the team.

Cross-functional collaboration:

  • Collaborate with different departments or teams within Ivory Tower to ensure smooth operations and client onboarding.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to gather necessary information or provide updates.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on process enhancements or client-related matters.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with CEO, Beulah who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
