The website should accomplish the following:
- Visually appealing and immersive homepage to attract users and highlight Origins of Orion
- Integration of game assets like images, videos, and OC renders to showcase the product
- Responsive design supporting flawless access on all devices
- Accounts/login for users to track progress, interact with the community, etc.
- Blog or news section for developers to post regular updates
- Integration with back-end APIs to display dynamic game data
- Contact forms, mailing lists, and other features to drive engagement
To achieve this, students will:
- Collaborate with the client to define website objectives, features, and target users
- Create wireframes and site maps to conceptualize the structure and flow
- Design an attractive, cohesive, and mobile-friendly UI adhering to brand guidelines
- Develop front-end codebase using React, editorX, HTML/CSS, and other frameworks
- Connect the site with back-end platforms like Contentful or WordPress
- Test extensively and integrate client feedback to meet requirements
- Deploy and host the finished website
