Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The challenges brought about by COVID-19, many businesses have adopted the hybrid work model, causing concerns for office owners. Our objective is to alleviate this by creating more opportunities for owners with vacant units to rent their spaces.


We aim to showcase the space through vibrant photos suitable for social media, website and any marketing collateral purpose. These images will serve to promote the office building, specifically emphasizing the available units. Additionally, this content will be featured on our upcoming website, ensuring it stays current with our evolving functionality.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • The ideal candidate must be on-site at any of the office buildings within the Yonge North York Corridor, as indicated in the boundaries, to facilitate the promotion of available space and coordinate with property owners for photoshoots capturing their amenities and units.
  • Share files promptly on Google Drive. File original and edited footage separately.
  • Format select footage for website, social media, and presentation use.


Expected project deliverables will include a an organized google drive package with all photos (original and edited), marketing materials collected, property and vacant suite details, and communications collateral.

How will you support learners in completing the project?
  • We will provide our office building information and our branding guidelines.
  • Access will be given to our photo library Google Drive folders.
  • Business email addresses to be used in the project.
  • Access to our team chat platform for business staff to facilitate communication and coordination. Ongoing communications.
  • Check-in meetings and review/commenting on content developed in Google Docs.
  • A briefing meeting via Zoom with our team to launch the project.
About the company

The Yonge North York Business Improvement Area (BIA) was recently established and is one of over 80 BIAs in Toronto. Our organization is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors from our business community. Representing over 1600 business and commercial property members, with over 30,000 employees and 51,000 residents within our district, we are one of the largest BIA’s in Toronto. Located along the Yonge corridor between Hwy 401 and just North of Finch Avenue, our urban district is experiencing significant development.
