Our vision is to bring compassion, respect, acceptance, insight, healing, freedom and connection to humanity through an international community of skillful Compassionate Inquiry practitioners.

We would like to work with students to develop and re-skin our existing WordPress website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Researching Wordpress stacks, themes, plug-ins, site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages.
• For instance, would creating headless Wordpress with Vue.js or efficient back-end caching be a better approach overall?
• Working with our internal team to build the re-designed back-end and front-end of our website.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

Students should have a moderate understanding of PHP and Wordpress, and a basic understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS, ux and ui etc.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Understanding of modern advanced Wordpress website development
• Recommendations for website maintenance

Bonus steps would include:

• Testing the website with users and making improvements based on user input

Final deliverables should include

• A website prototype.
• A final report.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our current products and website design
• Our customer and industry insights
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
