The primary focus of this project is to research and apply for grant, and other government funding.

The student will be responsible for

1- researching applicable funding that our company would be eligible for

2- applying for funding

Much government funding goes to waste each year because people do not spend time or know about the money available to support businesses. As a small business we suspect there are opportunities to utilize some of this and would like the support of a student to help us understand what is out there and make some applications for funding. The primary purposes of funding:

-hire additional students

-hire other support workers

-get contractor support such as a website designer to give the company a facelift

-invest in growth strategies

Students will be successful in this project by measuring the number of applicable grants we are eligible for that have been researched, then how many have been applied for and finally how many we have been successful in receiving.
