Atlantic Women’s Venture Foundation/Sandpiper Ventures - Venture for Canada
Marketing, Communications Planning
Project Mentor: Sarah Young
Skills: Communication, Analytical capabilities, Problem-Solving, Teamwork
Students will work to help Sandpiper position its brand for the second phase of its fundraising efforts and to pursue next round of investments. Sandpiper is seeking support to assist with the development of brand strategy and brand voice to support marketing communications initiatives including:
KEY PROJECT ACTIVITES:
- Research
- Develop audience profiles
- Analyze current market trends and collect information on potential customers and competitors
- Research best practices and trends
- Research event, profile, and sponsorship opportunities
- Draft a content strategy plan and calendar for Sandpiper
- Develop content
- Assist with content development including social media posts and blog posts
- Interview staff, founders, or industry experts for content creation
- Development of marketing materials and templates
- Draft slide decks for pitch presentations
- Draft website content
- Drafting guidelines for incoming enquiries and responses to target audiences
- Develop email templates

We will measure by quality of work (creativity, aligned with marketing plan)
Can components of this be assigned individually as students may span various time zones?
