Project Details:
What types of businesses are in our commercial districts, and what is the vacancy rate? Develop a mapping database/inventory of business types and vacancies within each of the City's Community Improvement Project Areas.
Deliverables can be :
- RESEARCH (Best practices, policy, data, cataloguing, tech solutions)
- MAPPING (GIS, site-based project work, local conditions, spatial data)
Background:
This project relates to the City of London Strategic Plan:
Focus Area: Growing our Economy
Expected Outcomes: London creates a supportive environment where entrepreneurs, businesses, and talent can thrive.
Expected Results: Increase access to supports for entrepreneurs and small businesses, and community economic development.
Strategy: Revitalize London’s Downtown and urban areas.
