The goal of this project is to analyze our shipping spend, shipping refunds and trends with the goal of cost reduction. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Analyzing our existing data related to shipping spend, shipping refunds and trends.

- Developing a cost reduction strategy based on the data analysis.

- Identifying areas for improvement in our shipping process.

- Researching other variables that can reduce our shipping costs.

- Accounting for additional variables in the cost reduction strategy.

- Testing the developed strategy and making improvements based on additional data.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

- Understanding of our existing data related to shipping spend, shipping refunds and trends.

- Understanding of variables that affect the cost of shipping.

- Identification of areas for improvement in our shipping process.

Bonus steps would include:

- Testing the developed strategy with actual shipping data and accounting for additional parameters

Final deliverables should include

- All source code.

- A written report explaining the data analysis process and outcomes.

Weekly check-ins and one on ones with Operations Manager to go over their work, provide feedback and guidance on how to perform their tasks better.
