The main goal for the project is to create financial modeling, pricing, and budget for the first 5 years of Runwei™ startup. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:


- Understanding the mission and goals of Runwei™ to align financial projections with the company's vision.


- Analyzing market trends and potential revenue streams to create a sales forecast and income projection for the first 5 years.


- Developing an expense budget based on operational and capital expenses.


- Conducting a break-even analysis to determine the timeline for profitability.


- Reporting on projected assets and liabilities to assess the financial health of the startup.


- Creating visual comparisons such as graphs and charts to illustrate the financial projections and budget.


Deliverables

The learners will need to complete the following tasks to achieve the project goal:


- Completed sales forecast and income projection for the first 5 years of Runwei™ operations.


- Developed an expense budget outlining operational and capital expenses.


- Conducted a break-even analysis using the financial projections and expense budget.


- Analyzed projected assets and liabilities to assess the financial health of the startup.


- Included visual representations such as graphs and charts to illustrate the financial projections and budget.



Final deliverables:


- A comprehensive financial report including sales forecast, income projection, expense budget, break-even analysis, assets, liabilities, and any relevant calculations and assumptions.


- A presentation explaining the financial modeling and budgeting process, as well as the findings and recommendations.


Mentorship

Learners are encouraged to take part in observing various meetings with partners such as Microsoft and AWS. This opportunity allows learners to gain insights into the collaboration and communication processes between the educational institution and these industry-leading technology companies. By observing these meetings, learners can observe how partnerships are formed, how decisions are made, and how challenges are addressed. This experience provides valuable exposure to real-world business interactions and can offer valuable lessons in effective communication, negotiation, and strategic planning.
