What is the main goal for this project?

Celeb Secrets is looking for multiple digital marketing wizards to help coordinate content for our growing social media handles! This team will lead the social and digital strategy for Celeb Secrets and Celeb Secrets Country's social media handles.

As a social media coordinator, your responsibilities will include Developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy by creating a content calendar; Researching audience preferences and discovering current trends within our demographic, reporting relevant insights; Creating (and coordinating) engaging captions and content for social media posts on various platforms; Working with social media director(s) to ensure content is informative and appealing; and scheduling content on our platforms either manually or through marketing tools.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To successfully achieve the project goal, the student should have a basic understanding of creative platforms like G-Suite (Google Docs, Calendar, Sheets, etc), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Canva, iMove, Final Cut and/or Adobe Premiere as well as previous experience with content management systems/marketing tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Planoly, etc. They should also be familiar with Celeb Secrets brands' platforms and social media accounts and implement creative ideas to help grow each social media account.

We ask that students be available during normal work hours and willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will be working remotely on the project for 80 hours. They will be required to participate in meetings and conference calls via Google Meet or Zoom and they will report to a social media director. There will be a training process and the student will be in contact with their director and CEO on a daily basis, as they will be available to answer any questions and guide them through the project.
