D & S Horse Ranch and Rescue aims to bolster its donor engagement and fundraising efforts to ensure sustainable support for its mission. The project focuses on three key areas: donor engagement, event planning, and online fundraising. The goal is to increase donor engagement by a specified percentage through targeted outreach and communication strategies. Additionally, the project seeks to develop a donor appreciation program to enhance retention and research potential new donors to create a comprehensive prospect list. In terms of event planning, the project involves assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising events, managing logistics, and creating engaging marketing materials. For online fundraising, the project aims to develop and manage campaigns to boost online donations, create compelling social media content, and analyze data to optimize performance. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply classroom knowledge in marketing, communication, and event management to real-world scenarios.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a detailed donor engagement strategy document outlining targeted outreach and communication plans. Additionally, a donor appreciation program framework will be developed to enhance retention. A comprehensive prospect list of potential new donors will be created. For event planning, a logistics plan and marketing materials for fundraising events will be produced. Lastly, an online fundraising campaign plan, including social media content and data analysis reports, will be delivered to optimize future efforts.
