This project invites students from Seneca University to conduct a comprehensive analysis that identifies key competitors, evaluates their strengths and weaknesses, and assesses current market trends. In addition to traditional market research and strategic analysis, students will investigate how technology—such as Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) tools or custom online course platforms—could enhance service delivery, caregiver engagement, and community support within The Playgroup Collective’s model.
The project encourages students to consider how digital solutions might support families, streamline communication, or provide scalable educational content, while also identifying potential risks or barriers to adoption. The goal is to deliver insights that inform future business decisions and position The Playgroup Collective for sustainable growth in an evolving industry. The final outcome will be a detailed marketing plan that reflects both the organization’s unique strengths and its potential for technology integration, offering practical recommendations to enhance its competitive advantage.
The project deliverables include a detailed report and a presentation. The report will contain a competitive analysis with profiles of at least three major competitors, a SWOT analysis for The Playgroup Collective, and a marketing plan with actionable strategies. The presentation will summarize key findings and recommendations, providing a clear path forward for the company to strengthen its market position. Including a parent hub with a one stop shop with passive income streams including family mediation videos.
