Details

Tasks include all or part of the following, depending on career goals of the candidate. Candidates are not required to have experience or skills in the tasks.

DIGITAL MARKETING - social media, google adwords & google analytics.

MARKETING –planning & implementation.

CLIENT & CUSTOMER RELATIONS - chefs, food producers, artisans & farmers & visitors to Toronto Garlic Festival or Ontario Garlic Week.

BASIC ACCOUNTING – includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow.

DATA ANALYTICS - sales and marketing analysis.

WEBSITE FRONT END – duties include updating & editing information.

GRAPHIC DESIGN – conceive & /or create graphic materials including marketing collateral, images for social media and to edit images for the website.

RISK MANAGEMENT- public & vendor safety.

RESEARCH – find vendor prospects, media contacts, & other searches.

Deliverables

Our objective in working with a candidate/s is to support their career objectives. Candidates are not required to have experience or skills in the tasks. Tasks assigned will depend on the aptitude and career goals of the candidate.

While the the period of work may end before the commencement of Toronto Garlic Festival (Sept, 2022) and Ontario Garlic Week (Oct, 2022) candidate will be assisting us in the months leading up to these events.

Mentorship

Candidates will receive daily contact with the Peter McClusky (Director) and Chantal Stepa (Manager, Events & Program Development). Communication will be in the form of zoom meetings, phone, and email. We use MS Teams, Pipedrive and Asana.
