Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The core value of our company, Beentos Inc. is to create and sustain "real" connections between consumers and brands by instrumentalizing and rewarding the creativity and diversity of young people in the online space.

Beentos is a digital brand marketing platform that seeks to disrupt the traditional marketing/or advertising landscape, by working with major brands/govt agencies to engage consumers to generate organic and authentic User Generated Content (UGC - pictures and videos). This done through our revolutionary mobile and web platform for brands and consumers. We hope to revamp our social media campaign and marketing content strategy to attract more customers.

We would like students to help us create content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, marketing goals and target market.
  • Researching factors affecting the quality of digital content.
  • Reviewing mobile app and web app platforms to provide constructive feedback/report based on user experience and make recommendations.
  • Recommending changes to existing digital content and designing new social media posts and emails.
  • Recommending and designing new digital content not already used by our company.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Beta Testing and improving designs based on feedback.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our company’s products and goals
  • Understanding of factors affecting the quality of digital content
  • Recommendations for improving existing digital content
  • Recommendations and designs for new digital content
  • Recommendations on best approach to acquire new customers

Bonus steps would include:

  • Improving designs based on testing feedback

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A 10-minute presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and digital content
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
