Our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning ) system is built on Odoo..
We are looking to create a team that will develop Odoo applications.
Odoo is used by over 5,000,000 users aroung the world. So this project will provide you some unique skills.
Odoo developer, you will lead and participate in development projects for our product, and be involved in all development- related aspects of our technical operations.
Responsibilities Able to identify the requirement and propose good alternative solution to requirements/
- Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development, customisation).
- Develop application/ features that affect the entire food chain.
- A good base is a strong knowledge of Core Python and programming concepts
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collect Needs and draft ERP application requirements
- Design, Development and testing of Odoo (OpenERP) modules, projects, products and interfaces.
- Maintaining existing modules.
- Complete and clear documentation for any task/work done.
- Test new functions / modifications to existing application modules in accordance with application support.
- Configuration, installation and maintenance of server and multi database Odoo environments
Other development tasks in systems developed in Python other than Odoo
Qualifications and Skills- Knowledge of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery).
- Knowledge of Python development frameworks & Linux system
- Knowledge of frontend development languages is a great plus,
- Software development life cycle in an Agile environment.
- Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience and professionalism
- Reliability and discretion: you will often learn of confidential matters
- Communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskS
Skills students will develop:
- Project management
- Communication in a virtual environment
- Familiarity with tools like Discord, Asana and GitLab
- Taking responsibility
- Presentation skills for a business environment.
Some example deliverables that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Communication between teams/projects
- Maintaining agile project management in Asana
- Onboarding of new interns
- Becoming a Team Lead coordinating the office itself
