The main goal for the project is to create engaging and informative audio-visual content that highlights the stories and experiences of the Afro-Black community in Canada. This content will be focused on delivering factual journalism related to the community, ensuring that their voices are inclusively portrayed in the Canadian digital media landscape.


This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:


- Researching and identifying relevant stories within the Afro-Black community.


- Developing scripts and storyboards for audio-visual content production.


- Gathering visual (photo-archives)) materials to support the content.


- Editing and producing high-quality audio-visual content that aligns with the mission and values of FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV.


- Ensuring that the content is factual, informative, and engaging for the target audience.


- Collaborating with the FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV team to ensure the content meets their standards and objectives.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, learners should complete the following tasks:


- Research and identification of relevant stories within the Afro-Black community.


- Development of scripts and storyboards for audio-visual content production.


- Gathering visual (photo-archives)) materials to support the content.


- Editing and producing high-quality audio-visual content aligned with the mission and values of FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV.


- Collaboration with the FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV team to ensure the content meets their standards and objectives.


Final deliverables should include:


- Completed audio-visual content pieces that highlight the stories and experiences of the Afro-Black community in Canada.


- Documentation of the research process and script/storyboard development.


- A presentation to the FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV team showcasing the completed content and the process of its creation and content will be published on platforms of FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK WEB TV including website, youtube, facebook, instagram
