Details

Develop a video-interactive smart machine system that allows users to engage with FreeFuse-powered interactive media (e.g., decision-based video journeys) to control an IoT-connected machine in a retail setting. Users will make real-time choices within an interactive video, and these choices will trigger machine actions such as displaying product recommendations, activating a robotic system, or dispensing a selected product.

This project will focus on integrating interactive video decision-making with IoT automation in a controlled environment, demonstrating how media-driven engagement can seamlessly connect digital content with physical systems.

Deliverables

Expected Outcomes & Deliverables:

  1. Video-Triggered Machine Prototype
  • Develop a basic interactive video that presents users with multiple options (e.g., choosing a product or selecting an action).
  • Implement logic that triggers an IoT-connected machine action based on the selected video pathway.
  1. IoT & Video Integration Framework
  • Create a simple API or software bridge that connects the FreeFuse interactive media system with a machine (e.g., a small robotic arm, digital display, or automated dispenser).
  • Ensure seamless real-time response between user selections and machine outputs.
  1. User Interaction & Experience Study
  • Conduct a usability test with sample users to analyze engagement and effectiveness of interactive video-controlled automation.
  • Identify improvements based on user feedback and response times.
  1. Industry Application & Scalability Report
  • Research potential use cases in retail automation, self-service kiosks, or smart manufacturing.
  • Document recommendations for expanding the system to different industries.
  1. Final Presentation & Technical Documentation
  • A 10-15 min final presentation summarizing the prototype, technical process, and business potential.
  • A structured report detailing system architecture, data flow, and implementation steps for future scalability.
