If you're studying: SEO | Digital Marketing | Journalism | Media Studies | Communications | Public Relations
And you're looking for a post-graduate contract or a co-op that will help build your skills - this gig is for you!
Search engine optimization (SEO) and public relations (PR) practices are both critical components of driving awareness for a brand or organization. SEO focuses on improving the visibility of a website in search engine results, while PR focuses on building relationships and managing the reputation of a brand or organization. Using these practices together can increase brand visibility and credibility, drive awareness, and attract new customers.
To apply, you either:
- feel you know SEO tactics and strategies pretty well, but would like to expand your skills to include content and other forms of digital marketing, OR;
- feel you know writing and content creation pretty well, but would like to expand your technical knowledge of SEO and digital marketing to achieve results.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve:
- Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords & Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share
- Content Calendar Creation: Relevant mapping of pre-planned, targeted social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
- Creating engaging content for prominent media websites and identifying possible backlinks and worthwhile PR listings
