Details

The Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA) equips women with the tools to recognize manipulation, navigate power dynamics, and reclaim their full agency. Combining behavioral science, neuroscience, and AI-driven insights, FIA provides predictive analytics, real-time training, and a global peer-to-peer network for support and strategy. Our mission is to help women spot hidden power plays, make informed decisions, and build relationships that foster long-term well-being and success.

The Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA) is developing a Peer-to-Peer Listening Module, designed as a preventative mental health tool that provides women with a structured, nonjudgmental space to express and process emotions such as anger, shame, sadness, and frustration before they escalate into destructive coping mechanisms. The module is designed to be accessible, affordable, and scalable, making mental wellness support available beyond traditional therapy models.

This project invites students to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness, feasibility, and ethical considerations of FIA’s Listening Module by researching peer-to-peer mental health models, conducting a comparative analysis, and providing recommendations to optimize the framework for accessibility and impact.

Learning Objectives for Students

Students will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Evaluating mental health interventions with an emphasis on prevention.
  • Applying community psychology principles to a real-world wellness initiative.
  • Researching evidence-based peer support models and identifying best practices.
  • Assessing ethical considerations in non-professional mental health interventions.
  • Developing practical recommendations for increasing accessibility and effectiveness.

Deliverables

Students will work in teams to complete the following:

1. Comparative Analysis of Peer Support Models

  • Conduct a literature review on existing peer-to-peer mental health and wellness programs, identifying what has been most effective in reducing stress and preventing emotional distress.
  • Compare different models of peer support, including community-based programs, digital wellness tools, mutual aid groups, and structured interventions.
  • Identify key strengths and weaknesses of various approaches.

2. Best Practices for Ensuring Psychological Safety

  • Research how peer support programs can be designed to prevent harm and maintain ethical standards.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges (e.g., emotional burden on participants, confidentiality concerns, risk of misinformation).
  • Provide guidelines for training and structuring peer-to-peer support sessions to ensure psychological safety for participants.

3. Evaluation Framework for FIA’s Peer-to-Peer Listening Module

  • Design a practical evaluation framework that can be used to test the effectiveness of FIA’s Listening Module.
  • Suggest metrics and assessment tools (e.g., user feedback, self-reported emotional improvement, reduction in harmful coping mechanisms).
  • Propose pilot testing methods for measuring outcomes.

4. Expanding Access to Peer-Led Mental Wellness Support

  • Identify barriers to participation in peer support models (e.g., stigma, accessibility, digital divide).
  • Provide recommendations for scaling FIA’s Listening Module to underserved communities.
  • Explore partnership opportunities with universities, community centers, and online platforms to expand reach.

Final Deliverables

Each student team will produce:

  • A 10-15 minute presentation summarizing their key findings and recommendations.
  • A detailed written report, including:
  • A comparative analysis of peer-to-peer models.
  • Best practice recommendations for psychological safety.
  • A proposed evaluation framework for FIA’s module.
  • Strategies for expanding access and impact.
