amazon api gateway mysql zoom (video conferencing tool) process improvement github application development microsoft teams react.js (javascript library) serverless computing event managementOur organization offers computer science student or teams opportunity to learn AWS most advanced tools on AWS Cloud - Serverless and a mature open source event management solution.
The primary focus will be:
- Customize a mature open source event management solution to perform as a Virtual Tradeshow on an eCommerce Motorsports Marketplace - We are creating a Virtual Tradeshow solution to integrate with our motorsports marketplace site-
- Students will conduct a brief needs analysis to identify feature functionality of an existing virtual Tradeshow called vFairs.com and then create a plan to integrate a shopping cart and Zoom Video thru the API into INDICO's latest 3.0 open source event management solution. The INDICO platform supported 30,00+ scientists collaborating on the atom collider project at CERN Switzerland. The platform is stable and current technology. Students will enhance it.
- Determine which AWS Cloud and Serverless solutions are most suitable for integration to enhance performance and add eCommerce to the platform.
- Students can study INDICO's GITHUB and Documentation the create a brief design proposal including screen shots, storyboard - user stories, mock-ups, required for implementing an MVP ptototype of a functioning Virtual Tradeshow solution for RacerX.
- Software Architecture - Some of this may involve improving the functionality of a INDICO existing open source system - integration; porting an architecture of one system thru integrations into the AWS Cloud and serverless world.
- Research, Review and Recommend communication tools, problem solving techniques, intelligent search and knowledge representation.
- We are seeking to engage heavily in video learning for our international clients like Porsche, BMW, McLaren, Ferarri GM, Toyota.
- Application Programming Interfaces - Redesigning an API using AWS API Gateway - to simplify it and automate it.
Our goal at the end of this experience is:
- Application Development - For the student(s) to create a fully functioning single application that begins our sites journey into AWS Serverless.
- Software Architecture Development - Student(s) will follow IDICO and AWS Well Architected practices and recommendations for a well architected solution to ensure optimal performance and sustainability.
Other duties the student may complete could include:
- AWS SOLUTIONS research, evaluation, Selection, Integration
- Assisting with existing INDICO site process improvements to add Virtual Tradeshow functionality
- Unit and integration testing
- LANGUAGES: Java, React, Python 3.0+ MySQL AWS Amplify Studio.
We communicate with virtual teams using a Project mgmnt solution - MS Teams, Zoom, Whats app group messaging, email.
Students will interact directly with CEO JimmyMac and C-Level execs on weekly / Bi Weekly MS Teams / Zoom Meetings and email.
Students will have live and recorded trainings by AWS and INDICO experts as well as guidance from RacerX C-Level support
