Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of the above project is to research and identify the best material for a menstrual product line that is effective, sustainable, and meets consumer preferences. The aim is to create a high-quality product that stands out in the market and satisfies the needs of the target audience.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  1. Identify the product line's requirements: The first task would be to understand the specific requirements for the menstrual product line. Different products have different requirements, and understanding these requirements would help to narrow down the options for materials.
  2. Research the available materials: Students should research the various materials available for menstrual product lines, such as cotton, rayon, or a combination of different materials. They should also consider eco-friendly and sustainable options and their effectiveness in terms of absorbing menstrual fluid and preventing leaks.
  3. Analyze the benefits and drawbacks of each material: Students should analyze the benefits and drawbacks of each material. This includes considering factors such as comfort, breathability, absorbency, sustainability, and cost.
  4. Test the materials: Students should test the materials to evaluate their effectiveness in absorbing menstrual fluid and providing comfort
  5. Consider the environmental impact
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with CEO, Lin Ferguson who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
