We send an average of two media releases per week. We are looking for advice on how to improve our communications strategy, especially to reach higher profile media outlets with more "landmark" coverage.
Examine and analyze data on our media releases -- open rates, published articles
Consult with communications director to identify our communications challenges and opportunities
Provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.
Examining various contemporary strategic communications challenges as they arise, such as reporting trends around certain topics, resistance to reporting certain topics, and providing advice on how to overcome those challenges
Prepare a short initial report on our current communications strategy
Prepare a report with recommendations on how to overcome those challenges
Assist with the implementation of recommendations
Produce a final report on the outcomes achieved
Weekly check in call and regular communication via slack
