What is the main goal for this project?

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: brick and mortar businesses, including hotels, grocery and retail, medical offices, recreation centres, and universities. Each target market requires different marketing strategies to reach the associated decision makers, so we recommend students choose only 1 target market to focus on. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company?
  • What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using?
  • How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
  • What's the most cost-effective strategy to reach our target market?
How will you support learners in completing the project?

A dedicated team manager will be available 7 days a week for any questions. Weekly or daily zoom meetings can be arranged for the manager to meet with students during their classes or outside of classes. We're flexible and want to work with you and your students to ensure everyone benefits from a valuable experience.
