Details

Mother Daughter Empower Charity is seeking to enhance its funding opportunities by developing a compelling grant proposal. The project aims to equip learners with the skills to craft a persuasive grant application that aligns with the charity's mission of empowering women and girls. The learners will research potential grant opportunities, understand the specific requirements of grant writing, and create a comprehensive proposal that highlights the charity's objectives, past successes, and future plans. This project will allow students to apply their classroom knowledge of writing, research, and strategic planning in a real-world context. The goal is to produce a well-structured and convincing grant proposal that can be submitted to potential funders, thereby increasing the charity's chances of securing financial support.

Deliverables

The primary deliverable is a completed grant proposal ready for submission. This includes a detailed narrative, budget outline, and supporting documents. Additionally, learners will provide a presentation summarizing their research findings and proposal strategy. The deliverables should demonstrate a clear understanding of the grant writing process and the charity's mission.

Who we are: We are Mother Daughter Empower a Canadian Charity on a mission to EMPOWER the next generation of young girls! We believe that all women and girls should have the confidence to be who they are and become anything they want to be. Did you know that by age 14 a girl’s confidence will decrease 30% in comparison to boys of the same age? At Mother Daughter Empower, we want to change that statistic! We believe that all women and girls should have equal access to personal development and growth mindset education that will empower them to develop the confidence they need to set big goals, follow their dreams and reach their full potential.
