content creation podcasting social media scriptingPodcasting and Connected TV (OTT) are the two fastest growing sectors within the media industry. PodTV has merged the two to be the first dedicated network of podcasts that have a video companion. We are looking for students that have a skill for content creation (video or audio), and a passion for storytelling and podcasting. . We would like for students to assist in producing weekly episodes of our various podcast series. This person can work remotely , based on our outcome objectives. You will be supervised by our head of media production.
Students could accomplish the following:
- Script and/or outline run of show for each podcast episode.
- Ensure the show is ready for publication according to the schedule
- Edit the recorded audio for final publication in various forms and lengths ( full length episodes to short clip promos for social media)
- Coach participants for success on the microphone.
- Provide recommendations on increasing listenership.
Each intern will be assigned to a mentor. That mentor will interact with the intern on a weekly and at times daily basis. They will initially coordinate and provide training on necessary platforms and systems used by the company to perform our production work. Interns will get exposure to all elements of our company from production to marketing, creative development and more. During the internship you will devleop and enhance your skills in production, communication and project planning.

PodTV is the only podcast network dedicated to video (Vodcast). We extend the reach of the podcast world in OTT via our distribution partnerships with the likes of Roku, Amazon, Vizio, Apple, Google TV Dailymotion and others.We are creating a consumer experience using visual engagement in podcasting whether it be to visually connect users with their favorite host and/or guests or experiencing great stories through visual aides.
