What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for assistance in creating online surveys from large groups of volunteers. This project is for Educational NPO York Region Educational Services. (www.yorkeducation.org) The Not-for-profit's mission is to provide individuals in the vicinity of the York Region with free educational resources in a safe and supportive environment that inspires, motivates and helps set the foundation for personal growth.

We believe this project will help us understand how committed volunteers are in the organization and how our organization can deliver a better volunteering program to high-school students across GTA.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • Research, plan, write, and edit surveys
  • Research into business opportunities to support our volunteering program
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

Students will attend weekly team meetings to learn updates and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
