Details

The primary focus for the student will be:

Campus Recruitment Research – Research and recommend relevant job fairs, job boards, seminars/speaking opportunities, networking events, etc. to recruit undergraduate and graduate students in Western Canada.

Campus Recruitment Marketing Strategy – Based upon your research, develop an implementation plan for Elantis' campus recruitment opportunities. Recommend innovative ways that Elantis can increase brand awareness to post-secondary institutions using a variety of methods, including social media, on-site visits, and attendance at career fairs.

Event Planning – Prepare recruitment marketing content and materials for an upcoming virtual job fair in November. Support Elantis with preparations for this event.

Deliverables

Our goal at the end of this experience / deliverables include:

Campus Recruitment Research – Develop a list of recommended campus recruitment activities In Western Canada. Include details such as dates, costs, and target audience/attendees/programs to support decision making.

Campus Recruitment Marketing Strategy – Synthesize your research to develop a written implementation plan that outlines a timeline for recommended campus recruitment activities and ways Elantis can increase brand awareness. This document will act as a playbook for Elantis to implement tactical campus recruitment activities over the next year.

Event Planning – Support Elantis’ Marketing team and Recruitment team with preparing employer materials and collateral for a virtual job fair in November. This includes marketing recommendations to book one-on-one and group sessions in advance, as well as developing content for collateral that may include a flyer, website landing page, video, employee testimonials, etc.

Mentorship

The student will work closely with the primary project contact who will supervise and be available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the student’s tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Riipen messaging, company email, and virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams.

We will provide you with access to organizational assets that support the project, including a dedicated marketing specialist for collaboration, marketing and/or recruitment strategy documents, list of known competitors to research, marketing collateral, etc.
