Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The goal of the "Event Planning for the Office Building" project is to enhance workplace engagement and culture through a series of strategically planned events throughout the year.

Last year, we saw success with a holiday entertainment pop-up, which we would like to expand with new and creative ideas.

Our Business Improvement Area includes a number of office towers which face challenges due to high vacancy rates. By working together with Property Managers, we aim to contribute to an attractive office environment for workers by creating a series of event pop ups and activations.

The pop-ups are also intended as an opportunity to raise awareness of the offerings of the commercial area as well as collect worker emails for future marketing.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Conceptualization and Research:

  • Develop innovative concepts for cost-effective and enticing pop-up events for workers. Events could have themes such as sustainability, Valentine's Day, etc.

Detailed Event Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive plans, including logistics, high level budgets and schedules.
  • Provide them in an organized manners such as a spreadsheet.

Marketing:

  • Develop template marketing materials (i.e. signage, newsletter banner, etc.) and communications for the pop-ups (i.e. email template for Property Manager distribution).
  • Create one sponsorship deck for the event series.
  • Outline strategies for each pop up for collecting worker emails as part of the event and encourage following on social media.

Project Evaluation:

  • Provide a description of event outcomes and measures of success (i.e. number of worker emails collected).
How will you support learners in completing the project?

  • Regular sessions and one-on-one mentoring for discussing project objectives and addressing queries. Additionally, a team chat is available for additional assistance.

Tool and Training Access:

  • Access is provided to budgeting tools, graphic design software, and organization accounts to enhance skill development.
