Details

Mother Daughter Empower Charity aims to enhance the accessibility and awareness of social services available to women and families in need. The project involves developing a series of resource toolkits that compile useful tools, tips and tricks on topics like; mental health, mindfulness, growth mindset, communication etc... This project will allow learners to apply their research, writing, and organizational skills to create valuable tools for the community, fostering empowerment and support. Information from these toolkits can then be used to generate social media posts and newsletter content.

Deliverables

The primary deliverable is 10-12 X1 page toolkits/ "how to" resource guides that includes detailed information on various social issues. The guide should be available in both digital and print formats. Additionally, a short presentation summarizing the guide's content and its potential impact on the community will be prepared. This project will require thorough research, clear writing, and effective design to ensure the guide is both informative and accessible.

Who we are: We are Mother Daughter Empower a Canadian Charity on a mission to EMPOWER the next generation of young girls! We believe that all women and girls should have the confidence to be who they are and become anything they want to be. Did you know that by age 14 a girl’s confidence will decrease 30% in comparison to boys of the same age? At Mother Daughter Empower, we want to change that statistic! We believe that all women and girls should have equal access to personal development and growth mindset education that will empower them to develop the confidence they need to set big goals, follow their dreams and reach their full potential.
