Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this course will Initiate and complete a project in service of an organization, supporting the data life cycle by collecting, transforming, and analyzing data, and communicating results in order to inform and guide decision making. Topics include data sourcing, data visualization tools and techniques, and broader impacts such as privacy, ethics, and transparency.
