Cascadia College, is an American community college located in Bothell, Washington on a shared campus with the University of Washington Bothell. Established in 2000, Cascadia was built to serve the cities of Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland, Kenmore, Duvall, Carnation, Sammamish, Redmond and other smaller communities within the greater Seattle area.

Web Application Development

Are you in need of web application to be developed for your company? Our students are able to support you by developing data-driven web applications. They can program from both the client and server side. Students work in teams to gain practical experience in creating and managing web applications. Of most interest would be projects that use ASP.Net MVC framework, database integration, REST APIs, client-side AJAX, and server security. Students will work in teams using an Agile approach to project work, and will use modern version control systems (GitHub), and Slack.
Web Application Internship
Students are completing their two-year degree in Web Applications Programming. The intern or intern team typically work on the design and development of a website or web application depending on the project scope. Internship projects generally last three months, though may be extended for multiple quarters. Client interactions include an initial kickoff meeting, regular email communication, and a final presentation and hand-off with documentation. Clients complete a intern evaluation form at the end of the internship and may be requested to provide a reference or LinkedIn recommendation for the intern. Placements will be completed from June to September.
