Project Examples
The ideal projects for this experience encourage students to analyze, critique, and apply core writing concepts in real-world scenarios. Possible project examples include:
- Audience Analysis and Persuasive Writing – Students conduct research to understand a specific audience and create a persuasive text (e.g., blog, article, or marketing piece) tailored to that audience.
- Research-Based Editorials – Learners develop editorials on relevant topics, backed by original research and aimed at influencing a specific demographic.
- Digital Communication and Documentation – Students develop content for a company’s blog or newsletter, focusing on clarity, tone, and audience engagement.
- Professional Writing Audit – Learners evaluate a company’s existing communications for clarity, tone, and engagement, offering written feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Content Strategy and Development – Students create a series of content pieces around a theme, researching and writing to meet specific communication goals.
