Details

Working with a real organization, students will use concepts and knowledge frameworks acquired within the business technology program to research, plan and design a solution to a business problem. Students will meet with representatives from the business organization, conduct interviews, deliver presentations, and submit an executive summary along with technical reports

Format of deliverable: written report and oral presentations.


Expected outcomes: Detailed analysis of business-IT problem and detailed implementation plan with a proposed IT solution.

Project Examples

Assess an existing business problem/ process and providing recommendations on how to improve it with IT.


Report with a request for information a new IT system

Report with request for proposal for a new IT system


Implementation plan including resources needed, budget, project management and project governance, change management activities, and timeline.
