George Brown College School of Fashion Studies currently has students who are seeking fashion internships. (Remote or In-field opportunities)

Students from the following programs are ready to complete 160 or 280 hours with your company:

FASHION MANAGEMENT (DIPLOMA) Students have taken courses in visual merchandising, accounting, economics, marketing, adobe illustrator, fabric analysis, as well as basic sewing.

INTERNATIONAL FASHION MANAGEMENT (POST-GRADUATE) students have completed courses in International Economics, Trade and Business Law, Global Marketing and Logistics, Business Math, Statistics and Research Methods, Apparel Brand and Licensing Agreements, Project Management, Communication across Cultures and more.

Project Examples

General Workplace Tasks Include:

Fashion Management Diploma Students (280 hours) - Program specific tasks and responsibilities:

• Data entry and analysis

• Research and trend forecasting

• Fashion and mood boards creation

• Marketing and social media

• Inventory support

• Shipping and receiving support

• Ecommerce/website maintenance

• Merchandising

Post-grad International Fashion Management Students (160 hours) - Program specific tasks and responsibilities:

• Supply chain management & logistics

• Project management

• Marketing plans

• Research and trend forecasting

• Marketing strategies and initiatives

• Trade compliance

• Import & export

• Ethical and sustainable sourcing

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Sign off on weekly reporting forms and fill out an evaluation at the end of the internship period.

Assign weekly tasks, provide on-going feedback and weekly touch-base meetings with students. Provide training when necessary.
