Overview
- Learner goals and capabilities

A team of 4 Senior Business Students will apply Operations/Supply Chain Management analytics to provide you with recommendations for optimization to address your organizational challenges.
- Expected outcomes and deliverables

Phase 1 Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome - Report and Presentation: Students will submit a 5 to 7-page report on the process, research and findings of the study. Teams will also present this in the last class. Organization representative(s) are invited to attend these presentations .
Project Examples
Starting this November, a group of three business students will dedicate 90+ hours over the entire semester researching an operational challenge of your organization through an on-site tour and interviews.
Based on the information your organization provides, goals that you've shared, and research done by students, they will evaluate the data to provide you with recommendations to optimize your operations processes and overcome your unique organizational challenges.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for an initial background and scoping call
Be available for a 1-hour final presentation and to give feedback on recommendations
Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).
Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions or provide additional information.
