During the last semester of a 3-year Diploma, George Brown College Supply Chain Management students will undertake a cumulative or capstone assignment, designed to allow for students to apply their practical and theoretical knowledge to real-world supply chain issues. Supported by faculty facilitators, students will learn to engage with a client and apply their knowledge to supply chain related challenges faced by the clients.

Beginning in September 2022 and running each semester thereafter, approximately 4 teams of 6 SCM students will collectively spend about 1000+ hours managing, analyzing, developing, implementing actions or strategies pertaining to the supply chain of a company. Based on a project scope defined in conjunction with the client company and faculty facilitators, at a minimum, students will be responsible to deliver the client a detailed paper and/or oral presentation defending or in support of their proposal or actions.
Capstone client engagements are free for the client, making the engagement a win-win for both clients and students.
